Using technology to enhance communications by avoiding face-to-face interaction is nothing new.
I had a partner 20+ years ago who was in a clients office, trying to sell the idea of a computer network so the client and his co-worker could send messages to each other. The co-worker responded from the adjacent office: “we can hear each other just fine!”.
That how I often feel about texters
It sure looks like they’ve forgotten how to talk to each other …. lol!
I’ve texted so much, my voice sounded funny when I finally talked.
